So remove the cartridge from any connection before continuing. Note: If you leave the cartridge plugged into a GameBoy (even if it’s off) it will not be read properly by the computer. Step 4: Thanks to the nature of USB you can disconnect the GB 64m Smart Card from the Memory card/ gameboy all together and plug it into your computer via the USB port on the cartridge. Using a Gamil account and emailing them to yourself is a good option… So it’s really easy to back these up and keep them somewhere safe forever. I backed up over 60 saves to my computer (yes it took a long time), but the. So this really pushed me to finally back these up to a computer once and for all. Thankfully years ago I made a backup using my Mega Memory Card.

Better safe then sorry right? My Pokemon Red game just stopped working, a failure much larger then the battery was the cause I’m afraid. While it may still work now, the time is ticking on when the battery will finally fail. Meaning the battery is over 13 years old. For example Pokemon Red came out in 1998 and that game is now over 13 years old. For example most games are losing their saves recently, that’s because these batteries don’t last forever. Once this battery dies your save file is lost forever. GameBoy games that involve saves run on a battery. This allows you to copy gamesaves and more from a GameBoy game to your computer! Finally allowing you to really preserve your gamesaves and other data forever. This is basically a blank GameBoy cartridge with internal built-in storage and a USB port. I would try a previous version to check and report here if these issues are only specific for the current Nintendont version but unfortunately it wasn't possible to find and download older versions.1.) Download the USB Launcher easy installer from the Download List above. When I press button while playing a game, everything works fine and I get back to the HBC menu (by the way, wouldn't it be more user-friendly to first get back to the Nintendont menu?). This only happens when I press the home button from the Nintendont main menu. But it freezes there so that I have to restart my Wii with the power button. When I press the home button (whether on my Wii Mote or on Classic Controller Pro) while I am in the main Nintendont menu (in order to get back to the HBC menu) it shows me a black screen with some error codes and at the bottom of the screen it says that it will reload in 10 seconds. This also happens when using Nintendont through HBC. If it would work with USB Loader GX, the issue with the port would be solved as it exists only when using Nintendont through HBC.īy the way, from the first day I used this Nintendont version, I had a third issue that somebody else here also posted.

For me this is the lesser problem compared to the one that Nintendont can't be started through USB Loader GX. This explanation doesn't sound logical to me as port 0 (which crashes every 10 minutes when using Nintendont over HBC) works perfectly with USB Loader GX.
